MemoPryl Cognitive Support: What the Front Label Claims

Quick answer

MemoPryl cognitive support is the heading on label A, which reads Cognitive Support Formula with three claims: Supports Focus, Optimized Memory and Improves Mental Clarity. Each carries an asterisk. The asterisk points to an FDA statement that the claim has not been evaluated. The label we have shows no amounts.

Label A: Cognitive Support Formula, 30 capsules, with Supports Focus, Optimized Memory and Improves Mental Clarity.

What does the MemoPryl cognitive support label say?

On label A you will find "COGNITIVE SUPPORT FORMULA*", the name MemoPryl, three claims, "Dietary Supplement" and "30 Capsules". That is all the text we have seen on it.

The second bottle image reads "ADVANCED FORMULA" instead, with "60 CAPSULES" and different claims. The two disagree, so the bottle you receive is the source of truth.

Tap a number to see what that part of the label says.

  1. Heading

'COGNITIVE SUPPORT FORMULA*'. The asterisk refers to the FDA statement, which this image does not show.

  2. Name

MemoPryl, with a TM mark, in a panel edged in gold. This version prints no maker line.

  3. Network art

A faint sketch of nodes and links. It is decoration, not an ingredient list.

  4. Claims

'Supports Focus*', 'Optimized Memory*' and 'Improves Mental Clarity*', and each one carries the FDA asterisk.

  5. Product type

'DIETARY SUPPLEMENT'. It is not a drug.

  6. Count

'30 Capsules'. The other bottle image says 60.

Not printed on either image

No Supplement Facts panel, directions, warnings or distributor line appear.

What does the asterisk after each claim mean?

The asterisk points to a required FDA statement: the claim has not been evaluated by FDA, and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

These are called structure/function claims. FDA does not approve them before sale. The maker must hold evidence that the claim is truthful and send FDA the claim text within 30 days of selling (FDA, Structure/Function Claims).

So "Supports Focus*" is wording the brand chose, not a finding FDA reached. It does not say how much focus, in whom, or after how long.

Does cognitive support mean the capsules improve memory?

No. Cognitive support is a marketing phrase, not a result. It tells you what the product is sold for, not what it has been shown to do.

No study has tested MemoPryl itself. A review by the NIH center for complementary health calls the evidence for most memory supplements inconclusive, limited or inconsistent (NCCIH, Supplements and Cognition). The National Academies found insufficient evidence for a public campaign on prevention steps (National Academies 2017 report).

Label A claims, read plainly
Label wordingWhat it does not say
Supports Focus*No measure, amount or time frame
Optimized Memory*Does not say memory improved in any study
Improves Mental Clarity*Does not name who it was tested on

What does the front label leave out?

It leaves out everything you need to take it safely: serving size, capsules a day, amounts, other ingredients, warnings and a distributor.

The seller's product notes names six ingredients on a sibling pack: phosphatidylserine, ginkgo, N-acetyl L-carnitine, St. John's wort, bacopa and L-glutamine. That list is unconfirmed for your bottle, and no amounts are known.

Two of those names matter for safety. St. John's wort can weaken many medicines, while ginkgo may raise bleeding risk (FDA, Mixing Meds and Supplements). Stay on prescribed medicine, and check with your doctor or pharmacist before you begin. The full list is on the supplement facts page.

FAQ01

Questions people ask about MemoPryl

What does Cognitive Support Formula mean on a supplement?

It is a heading the brand chose. It tells you the product is sold for thinking and memory, but it has no legal test behind it and no set meaning. Read the Supplement Facts panel for what is actually inside.

Why does MemoPryl have two different front labels?

The two bottle images we have disagree. One reads Cognitive Support Formula with 30 capsules, and the other reads Advanced Formula with 60 capsules. We cannot say why. Trust the bottle you receive over any page.

Did FDA check the MemoPryl cognitive support claims?

No. FDA does not approve supplement claims before sale. The asterisk leads to a statement that FDA has not evaluated them. The brand must hold evidence for each claim, but FDA does not review it first.
